The Crusades stopped the march of islam and their pillaging of "other's" scientific knowledge. Free thinking is verboten in islam. every second of ones day is governed by the koran. Put this way, if the majority of ones life is governed by memorizing a book of hate how can you compete with any civilized country that begins educating their young in science and math instead of insane, cultish verses?
