The most "surprising" trend in the next several years will be non-term-limited House and Senate members dying off from old age and infirmity. While it's a national disgrace to allow them to stay that long in Congress, it is a reality for the time being. Therefore, watch the governor's races in 2006. Michigan is especially a key race. The nation's governors may hold the balance of power in the future Congresses of the next ten years...
