I'm not saying HPQ is likely to buy GTW, but if they can buy GTW at a reasonable price and HPQ believes they can make more profit off the additional GTW revenuess, of course they should. That's one of the reasons HPQ shareholders pay HPQ employees their salaries, to make more money for HPQ the company.

Just because it is small relative to HPQ's total size is not a reason not to do something. HPQ may make a $10 million acquisition if they think they can get good returns on the $10 million cost.
