Jim Rogers (and others) think that there could be a big bull market in agricultural commodities. Earlier today I was trying to get some suggestions as to how best to invest as directly as possible in corn, wheat, soybeans, etc. and have listed some of the replies and links below. I did go ahead and establish a position in that Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, and plan to make a major purcahse in Bunge (BG) when I can.

Would like to hear more ideas and hope this board might liven up.

Tom Pope: "The only things I can think of would be Bunge (BG) and ADM. Cargill would be an obvious choice, but it's privately owned."

Schnullie: "I realize this isn't really what you're looking for but its the same theme and may nevertheless be of interest to you.

I think I may have gotten this idea from Jim Rogers himself but it was about a year ago and I no longer remember.

Tim Fowler: "The only think I know is the futures contracts for the commodities.

"There is also AWB (formerly known as Australian Wheat Board), which got into some trouble for corruption in Iraq. Here are the Yahoo symbols for both SWP and AWB, plus their pink sheets...

P.S. I have no plans to invest in these."
