I think they're going to have to share the secret evidence with the accused's lawyer, at the very least.

Because this is a status hearing, not a criminal trial, there probably is no requirement that the accused have the right to confront the accuser or see all the evidence. It's only a hearing to determine whether there's sufficient evidence to hold him as a combatant, not prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.

The accused's lawyer owes a duty to his client, but as an officer of the court, if he's ordered not to disclose this information to the client, he's going to have to obey that order.
