Why not find the companies you speak of, put them on a watch list... then wait to buy them when the markets are down?

Buffett doesn't sell... but I've found it works good to TAKE PROFITS in companies I've bought using GARP metrics then buy the shares back when the market sentiment sucks and they have corrected. Long term... you have your core holdings while trading around the volatility for added return.

GARP stands for “Growth At a Reasonable Price.”
