The US entered into and won WWII in less time than Republicans have spent putzing around in a third world country less than 1/10th our size and decimated by decades of war and sanctions

You watch too many movies. The US didn't win WWII on it's own you know, it had more than a little help from it's friends many of whom were at war while Americans sat around and debated about what to do. Yes without America the War might not have been won, but without those who fought and died while they waited for America to wake up, the War might have been over before the US got involved.
