I think the markets would view it very POSITIVELY, not NEGATIVELY, if Stern were being sold to terrestrial. Sirius has gotten the big benefit from Stern, i.e., the publicity. And it is over.

If they could sell him to terrestrial and recoup some of that 3/4 billion, the markets would love it. Stern is, by any reasonable measure, a severely underperforming asset for Sirius. Mel isn't stupid; he realizes this.
