Clintonn was tough on Al Qaida. He had a crack team watching them 24/7. He stopped the LAX 1999 bombing. He narrowly missed Osama firing 150 Cruise Missiles at him (which the rightwing mocked him for) and when he left office he warned Bush that Al Qaida was our #1 threat. All this before Al Qaida struck their big blow. The African embassy bombings were relatively normal stuff. US embassaies have always been attacked by one group or another.

Bush's "security" advisor Condi Rice had never even heard of Al Qaida. Shocking but true. Bush was completely asleep at the wheel on terrorism until after 9-11. He didn't have a single singnificant counter-terrorism program going. He dismantled everything Clinton had set up and left us very vulnerable. He was also warfned on 8-6-01 about an impending attack and did absolutely nothing. All this is the truth. But you can imagine black is white and white is black if you wish to be a deluded fool and intentional liar.
