At what point does this stuff stop being political for you guys?

I'd turn the question around and direct it at you. The economy is doing fairly well (not great but certainly not bad), but you try to claim its bad for political reasons.

I am not saying the economy is bad......its not that bad. Its just not as good as it could be as it was during the ninties. Its not benefiting the people who need it most and its job creation is centered on low paying jobs.

The right has this belief that the feds have no control over the economy. I have never agreed with that premise but it wasn't worth the effort to argue it out. Well, I think we are seeing the kind of economy that develops when the people in charge don't think they have any control or don't care to exercise any control other than to benefit a very narrow constitutency.

You reap what you sow.......and what this country is reaping on so many different levels is not very good. That is my ultimate complaint. And it infuriates me when the right persist in the position that things are going fairly well when they are not. And when push comes to shove they blame any complaints on partisanship.

Well let me tell you I have never belonged to any party in this country. I only worked once on a campaign.......the one for the councilman for whom I worked.......I had too. I have never contributed my money to any candidate or to any party.

For the first time in my life, that will change. I have given money to five Democratic candidates and plan to give to two more. I will be working Dem. phones during the month of October. I will be voting a straight Democratic ticket for the first time in my life.

So to answer your allegation that my complaints are political........let me just say that they are more than political; they are personal. I will do whatever it takes to get the GOP out of office. The GOP is badly corrupted; seriously behind the times; a terrible spendthrift and has pretty much trashed this country's good name in the world. And it amazes that any sane individual would continue to support these fast talking, dishonest dilettantes, too many of whom are under indictment, have been fined or are in jail. It should be the goal of every decent, honest American to wrest control of Congress from the GOP grip. Is that political enough for you?
