So, I never got back to you on why trading stocks
is like poker--and I think in the meantime I lost
most of what I was thinking about at the time.
It probably boiled down to the times when you
suspect you know something, and you think everybody
else is thinking the same thing--but nobody wants to
stick their neck out and put in on paper. Or you
do a trade--but it goes against you, only you see it
done later at a better price. I don't trade anymore,
just on paper, but I always feel like there is always
going to be a better price, a better trade.

Anyway, here's my advice for the day, get a little
notebook and start paper trading. Not hour by hour
day by day trades, buy something once a month maybe
and see how you do over six months.

Don't share these trades with anybody!
And be sure they're honest trades--enter the order
then cancel and pretend, see if you feel serious.

We can compare notes in a year and see how we did.
