Yep, the housing market is kaput ... just like it was in the early 80's and just like it was in the early 90's ... seems not to have had much of a long term impact, IMHO. And currency markets are not morality plays, although some would like to pretend that they are. In case you haven't noticed, gold and the dollar have been decoupled for some time. Until the data demonstrate recoupling, you have to assume the status quo will continue. Try to do some serious scholarship on the issues if you want to discuss them ... your tendency towards hysterical polemics doesn't educate anyone.
