Bill, a story in The Kansas City Star this morning confirmed good fundamentals for Cerner and quoted the Lehman Brothers analyst who upgraded Cerner to a "buy" from "outperform." An analyst with Piper Jaffray is bullish on Cerner also, and his firm has a "buy, aggressive" rating on the stock. The recent weakness in the stock was attributed to normal end of quarter nervousness over third quarter results, expected to be announced the week of October 12th. I have owned Cerner for many years and have to remind myself during these breathtaking declines that there have also been some spectacular runups in the stock price. Maybe we'll get an earnings surprise, but on the upside. Regards, Gary Richards
