there are such things going on along the spine of the SA continental. bolivia, peru, ecuador, guyana. the people are very industrious. we write documentaries about it as if it is a primitive race of people living in a backward third world who cannot do anything else with their time, but dig holes in the ground for meagres scraps of metal. we have graduate to starbucks and rickshas.
