Well shiver me timbers*! We'll all be drowned in a sea of debt! We're doomed! ... Not.

The vast majority of people are utterly unaffected by fluctuations in the market values of their homes. House-flippers, OTOH, may have to look for a real job. Or walk the plank, or become pirates. ;-)

*in recognition of international talk like a pirate day (which hasn't ended yet in some time zones).
