Apple has never shipped any notebook with more than one mousebutton on the case, EVER. Jobs has long been known to profess that his users would be too confused.

Since you insist on mincing words...

Neither has anyone else. Notebooks don't come with mouse buttons. There is no mouse on a notebook. The pointing device is either a trackpad or a trackpoint. Two finger tapping (and it only requires two fingers, not three) is better than a two button pointing device.
