Wow. So it supports dual monitors?

That would be great for those who need to be CRT based (CRT screen for the photos and the flat for the controls, menus and tetris).

I desperately need a second desktop based computer at home; the 24" might just fit the bill if I could afford the bill (OK I'll sell a little stock to pay for it :-))

And my current iMac, while quiet relative to other computers still annoys me when the fans go on.

I'm old fashioned - Computers should be seen and not heard.

Actually they should not be seen and not heard (unless spoken to first)
only their screens should be seen.

Now who said that the flat screen at 17" was to big and the whole thing would tip over???
