Toyota Upgrades April-Sept Operating Profit Outlook By Y170bn

NAGOYA (Nikkei)--Toyota Motor Corp. (7203) said Wednesday that it projects an 81% year-on-year surge in parent-only operating profit to 540 billion yen for the fiscal first half, 170 billion yen higher that its initial forecast, thanks largely to a weaker yen.
