Your test is fine except that you forgot that there were 97 more floors than the 3 you want to test. 97 more floors to crush the floors below them.

And, who says that the pan deck metal was vaporised. You just don't see it in pictures of the rubble. The pan deck was probably less than 1/10 of 1% of the total volume of material in the building. The fact that you don't see this 1/10 of 1% in some internet photos tells you that it vaporized?

Go ask the guys that were buried in the rubble what they were under. They'll tell you that it was blocks of concrete and piles of mangled steel of all types. That would be the test you should ask for, not dropping floors from a helicopter to try to duplicate something that didn't happen.
