And heck- who needs 26 keys in the alphabet- lets make a keyboard with only 5 keys,

I remember a one handed keyboard device from my early computer days.

It was ingenious. It used "chords" for different letters. You could use your mouse and the keyboard at the same time. It perished of course because the querty keyboard is to defined in our minds but it was a great idea.
