re: NATO being at war with the Taliban doesn't mean we aren't at war with the Taliban. NATO is at war with the Taliban BECAUSE we are at war with the Taliban. NATO is in command of the war in Afghanistan. Shouldn't they be in charge of the prisoners? Did you answer "did any of the Gitmo prisoners get captured in Iraq?"? If not, what does Iraq have to do with the releasing the prisoners in Gitmo? Unless you want to go back to that "war on terrorism" thing that the administration is so fond of. Or was on Islamofascists, or Islam extremism, or what ever the war is "on" today. Don't ya figure they would figure who the enemy is by now? Unless it's just a pretty nonspecific make it up as you go along kind of thing.
