Bush, Chavez, Castro, Bin Laden and The Iranian President are all similar in one sense, that they all preach fear, hatred and intolerance instead of sitting down like adults and ironing out differences. Why do they do this? Because it's how they scare and motivate their own reactionary followers into hating "the boogey man".
And this, my friend, is how wars often begin. Stupidity, blind hatred, ignorance, arrogance and intolerance, which then lead to acts of violence.
Bush is supposed to be the big boy on the block. Instead of refusing to talk to all these countries he vilifies, maybe he should learn what his own father knew how to do, international diplomacy. |
