C'mon... that's buffoonery....and buffoonery will get you banned, or at least sent on over to Larry King's thread... where you can pontificate over pennies on pink sheet stocks with the pom pom crowd.

Here's reality:

This is what has happened to the "Dead Speculators" crowd since this discussion began back in May:

The HUI goldbugs index has collapsed from 401.69 to a low of 270.54...with 94 of those index point occuring in less than a week.



This was the equivalent of the DOW losing 2,645 points in a single week!

From the HUI 270.54 low....now four months later, the HUI has only dead-cat bounced back to HUI 290.57 -- less than a measley 8% bounce off of a bottom that was accelerated by margin clerks cleaning out the accounts of those doomed by their own DNA.

And how about the Metal itself?

Gold has blown up... collapsing from $722 in May to a low of $550...and has only managed to crawl it's way back to $572.

For gold bugs that's less than a 5% bounce off of the forced liquidation bottom nearly 120 days ago.

Bottom callers have been negatively whipsawed for 4 straight months.

If you want to clarify the damage and put the pain that gold bugs have taken in proper perspective:

Gold's collapse form $722 to today's $572 is the equivalent of 2,322 DOW points.

Can you imagine the headlines... the pain, agony and despair... if the DOW had collapsed 2,322 points over the last 4 months?!?!?

And you thought I was being hyperbolic when I said:



"I see dead speculators"
