No, you missed the point!

I was referring to the Israeli plan which their powerpoint projections predicted "blitzkrieg" success within a couple of weeks. The Israelis no doubt thought that the war with Hezbollah will repeat the astounding successes they have had with the Arabs in the 1956 War, the Six-Day War and the Yom Kipur War, in each of which victory was achieved in a week. Despite Israeli forces' best laid plans in the recent war, they were embarrassed and humiliated by Hezbollah!

By contrast, you were talking about a war in which the Israeli forces would need a relatively long time to execute their best laid plans to achieve victory.

For the first time in history, the Arabs succeeded in warring the Israeli forces well past the one-week period. No wonder Nasrallah has called for a celebration for Hez's historic "victory" over their formidable enemy which had more materiél and firepower and mastery of the skies.
