Bloomberg says Japanese bank stocks are declining on fears that the BOJ will NOT hike rates.

Hard to figure if true.

"Bank Shares Slide on Concern Over Rate Outlook, Led by Mitsubishi UFJ Japanese bank stocks such as Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc. declined on continued concern the Bank of Japan will not raise interest rates soon following a weaker-than-expected report on consumer prices in August".
