What is "straight shooter" about "...but the Katrina gap is at $430 and remains unfilled."?

There are LOTS of up/down gaps all over the chart since August 2005, so why does he pick that one?

I've never understood why anyone thinks ANY gap has to be filled....except that I know that any "religion" with enough believers can make any irrelevant event a moment of supposed importance.
