There's no embargo of Cuba. Any other country in the world could invest in Cuba. They don't because smart money isn't going to flow to a corrupt Communist dictatorship. You'd have to be insane to invest there.


There is a Canadian company named Sherritt that has invested in Cuba. It's president and directors faced arrest if they entered the US. I don't know it that is still in effect, but as a shareholder of Sherritt I was surprised to see it. The US actively discourages investment in Cuba.
