OT: I have no desire to discuss Doug at all as I consider his views as pretty unimportant (can I even say that now ?) and I did not start the thread in question. However when Darbes makes a favorable assessment are we not allowed to post an unfavorable one ? Did Darbes post an IMO in respect for our views ? No. I still don't consider it insulting as in my opinion it is true based on the evidence of all his posts. Are we not supposed to say something or someone is incorrect for fear of offending ? As to his 128 bit fpu contribution frankly it was all a complete waste of time as AMD have never stated other than K8L will be the quad-core coming in 2007. I don't think he deserves any credit for correcting his and Charlie's mistakes. I still can quite see what's wrong in what I said but as I have no interest in pursuing this rather trivial matter further I will consider the topic closed with your views taken on board even if I don't see eye to eye with most of them.
