This report is not kind on the US either. But is you distill the facts of the case it still boils down to US acting on Canadian intelligence. The fact that Syria freed the man, when considered in the perspective of Syria sponsoring terrorism, does not prove that he is not a terrorist. The fact that Canadian courts, that respect people enough to require proof before convicting people, freed him does not prove that he is not a terrorist.

If he is an innocent victim I feel for him. He should be given the same consideration that others who are falsely accused are. I would much rather live in the US where these things become known.
