Reference the uplinked Message #16790 and recall where the Zimbabwe government recently moved the decimal point in its currency three digits to the left in order to cope with the phenomenal problems it is having with inflation. See what one Zimbabwe ISP's tarrif schedule looked like as it must have existed (or, I would hope) prior to the 3-zero truncation taking place:

Those numbers are almost reflective of pre-AT&T Divestiture I, and into the mid-1980s, Switched Digital Data Services rates, when switched 56/64 kbps loops were going for $400 to $500 a toss, at a time when toll charges were lopped on top.
