I follow apple. You are quoting old numbers. Wait until this quarter and you will see a pretty dramatic change in Apple sales volumes.

Also it is important to note that about 200mm PCs sell per year, where Dell and HP both selling between 32-40 million per year. In other words even Dell doesn't have a dominant market share. This has to do with how the PC market is measured. IMHO about half of the PCs sold aren't worth counting. But anyway because of this, Apple looks like it sells literally nothing, until you realize that even dell has about 20% share.

A better way to look at is is, Dell and HP sell about 4-5 million laptops per quarter. Apple used to sell 400K. Then 800K laptops last quarter and this quarter well over one million.

By this time next year, Apple will be doing half the unit volume of Dell and HP, or more, with literally ALL of their systems coming off the top 40% of unit price of the other vendors.
