Who is dumb enough now to buy a Windows laptop NOW, unless theirs breaks, when Vista should be out in less than a year? I think looking at short term numbers is a mistake and reflects on how the MSFT delay in Vista is hurting HP and Dell market share. Also, Dell's exploding laptops sure helped Apple.... But you may be right... maybe consumers do have an extra $200 to over pay for a workhorse PC... or has the price narrowed now to less than 5%?
