I don't think it's any worse. For me it's the same. I don't think it's helpful to name call- whether individually, or in the global political arena. But it may be necessary to whip up the masses, if you want or need your masses whipped up. Maybe people won't fight unless they feel they are fighting "evil". Maybe it isn't enough to lay out the logical reasons for warfare. It certainly wouldn't have been in the case of Iraq, since the logical reasons just weren't there.
