Does that bother you? Why? Are you thinking of moving to Venezuela? It doesn't bother you? Is that what democracy is all about?? Permitting some populist megalo-maniac to use the democratic system to load it with his supporters so that he can extend his term of power indefinitely? Hell, it was bad enough when we had FDR doing this, but at least he submitted himself to the will of the people every 4 years. Here Chavez is saying that, once elected to a 25 year term, they won't be having another election until then.. If that's not disturbing to you, then I really question your concept of democracy.. I know it would have me screaming unholy hell if Bush, or any other US politician, dared to make such a request. Hawk
