I really can't understand why some people are so opposed to progress and fairness. You are naive. You are talking about killing the goose that lays the golden egg. The trade has NEVER been fair and now you propose to make it so. Why has the SEC been dragging their feet? Why does the DTC refuse to release information? Why does the SEC levy massive fines and then they allow the culprit to declare they've done nothing wrong? Fairness? It's never entered into the equation and now you want to insist that we get a level playing field?
