Actually our match was not made in heaven. It takes hard work and commitment to keep a marriage together.

We used to fight all the time, mostly about money and how to raise the kids, but now the only thing we argue about is politics (he thinks I am a moderate, I think he is to the right of Atilla the Hun, I listen to NPR, he listens to Rush and Sean).

But we're there for each other.

For example -- this weekend, we are finally going to make a path with the huge bluestone pavers I bought a year or two ago.

Last weekend, he helped me get the garden ready for winter.

Next weekend, he's going to play games and I'll work on genealogy.
