Dell sees 'significant' price cuts in India next year
Computer maker Dell Inc. (DELL) expects "very significant" price reductions on its products sold in India in 2007, its vice president said Friday.
"Such price cuts will be possible once Dell's first manufacturing facility in India starts operations next year," Rajan Anandan told reporters in the southern Indian city of Bangalore.
He didn't quantify the price reduction.
Dell is in the process of setting up its first manufacturing facility near the southern city of Madras, which will be initially geared to produce desktop computers.
