I'm OVERJOYED to see you advocating such a socialist idea, Itchy! Maybe Canada has just gotten you so used to the government dole that you think it's somehow a conservative notion, but down here, giving ANY kind of help to the poor is regarded as "socialist", Certainly NOW, if not in 1962.

By the way, today, Nixon would be considered a wild social liberal by his fellow Repugnicans! Wage and Price controls! The very IDEA..
