You are not correct in your assessment ... They just gave the CIA the tools they need to question prisoners, it is vital to your security. This new war is not conventional, it is all "human intelligence" and thus, we must extract information from captured individuals. We have already proven, that tough measures yield results as have been demonstrated .... re: KSM and others "tough measures do not equal torture" They emerge from the event with their heads, unlike ours.
