One of my most respected colleagues is a New York City Slicker, but he is way into the theoretical projections of forest growth, not the practical end. He teaches me how to project the growth and I go out and do it, so to speak. Or at least get it started.

The crops that I started are now in their youth and will be around for a long time.

It's pretty neat to know that the crop you nurture along will be a benefit to your grandchildren's grandchildren.
