Ish, I would surmise you have never driven in Southern California at the start of Monsoon Season. <g> Back in the days when it still rained in Southern California, it was not hard to lose control of even a Sherman tank on the rain slicked and oil-coated highways which were characteristics of the start of Southern California's Monsoon Season.

That said, I very much agree with you re Ralph Nader. I doubt Mr. Nader could bear close scrutiny into his business and what groups support him and his causes.
