He even addressed that in the clip. Past presidents are often reluctant to openly criticize sitting presidents. Now they will often slip in comments and even sometimes say they wouldn't handle a given situation in the same way, but they try to keep it low-key.

But that isn't good enough any more. Hopefully, Clinton will try to promote his program some more. Because when he does, the media will try these sort of gotchas. And Clinton is quick-witted enough to jerk the rug out from under them.
