You stated...
Well, retail is not higher it's lower according to Sirius itself. So, Sirius pursues a "retail heavy" strategy according to you, yet their SAC/CPGA is higher than XM's, even though retail CPGA is lower than OEM CPGA for Sirius.

Then you provided this quote

So as you look at our SAC guidance for the year of $110, what you can safely assume is that the SAC associated with our retail products is substantially less than $110 and the SAC associated with our OEM products is higher.

ROTFLMAO!! Dude.. I don't know how to tell you this... But.. uhhh! THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT SAC COSTS... NOT CPGA!!

Sure the SAC costs will be lower because of scale cost reduction, and integration in the design of radios in the retail chain happen month to month.. While in the OEM market, it happens from model year to model year.

And yes it is my OPINION that SIRI's CPGA costs are higher in retail than OEM.. And by quite a margin. As it is my opinion that XM CPGA costs are also greater in retail.
