thanks for that Dale. i found that looking at the portfolios of others and how they choose their stocks can be helpful to developing my own strategy.
at 19.4% so far yours is doing great.
i have a couple of questions. maybe u’ll find it ok to answer them ..

a) i see u have a collection of non-usa foreign stocks. where do u get their financial statement info from ?
b) i presume u have your own defined set of criteria that a stock must meet before u choose it ? are u able to tell us what those criteria are ?
c) u have quite a few stocks in your list. no doubt most are doing well. but u say that 34 are in the red. at what stage or for what reasons do u decide to remove any of them ?
d) i guess a largish portfolio could mean that the poorer performers reduce the results from the better stocks. does your selection criteria attempt to only choose the companies with the best fundamentals or does diversification play a big part ?

sorry i’m not able to set u up with a larger fund at this stage ! maybe i’ll be able to do so sometime if i can get as good as u or others on this board !!
