"In Minnesota, Klobuchar Maintains Big Lead A new Minnesota Public Radio poll finds Amy Klobuchar (D) beating Rep. Mark Kennedy (R-MN), 52% to 37% with 9% undecided, in Minnesota's U.S. Senate race.
Key finding: "Kennedy seems to be struggling among independent voters, typically an important block in any election. Twenty-seven percent of the independents polled back him but nearly twice as many -- 53 percent -- support Klobuchar."
In Maryland, Cardin Leads Steele by Double Digits "With a down-to-the-wire primary behind him," Rep. Benjamin Cardin (D-MD) "enters the U.S. Senate general election contest with an 11-point lead over his rival," Michael Steele (R), according to a new Baltimore Sun poll.
Cardin leads Steele, 51% to 40%.
