My doctor has to check with a clerk at my insurance company before he does anything for me, if he doesn't already know the answer from previous queries.

Repugnican fear-mongering works with healthcare too! Meanwhile, they get paid from the insurance, pharma and other interests. Frist's family would lose BIG TIME with a single payer system.
