I understand what you are saying, but in their opinion they want the best for the country. They don't understand the basis for the criticism of the government, based on their POV, but they aren't traitors because they don't actually wish harm, as they understand it, on the country, nor are they working against the country or for the enemies of the country, as they understand them. That they might unintentionally aid the enemies of our country does not make them traitors.

Obviously you and I would prefer a more liberal country, so they look anti-democratic to us- but one of the things about democracy is that it must contain the seeds that could destroy it- that's part of the test of democracy- does it contain and protect even that speech which is repellent and which is destructive? and since it is part of the test, whatever we might think is repellent, and even "anti-democratic"- that element is part of a healthy democracy. So for you and me, the far right must be seen as part of the health of our democracy, and if they were thinking clearly, the far right would understand that we, the left (assuming you are left), are also part of a healthy democracy, no matter how repellent they think we are.

Just my opinion, of course.
