Bush let 9-11 happen. Either by incompetence or deliberately. The 8-6-01 warning Bush got proves this as Bush shrugged off this most dire of warnings and did absolutely nothing about it. Now why would he do that? There are only four explanations. - He doesn't give a damn about national security - He is so incompetent he thought someone else was supposed to handle that kind of thing - He was so lazy on vacation he didn't want to lift a finger - He wanted terrorists to attack so as to use that as a phony excuse to grab Saddam's oilfields, and if successful, maybe Iran's too, the ultimate neocon oil patch fantasy. By contrast, Clinton was very on the ball and aggressive vs. AL Qaida. He or Gore definitely would hgave acted on that 8-6-01 warning.
