It's been US national policy for decades and decades to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of ALL OTHER countries in the Americas, and strategic weapons delivery platforms (i.e., long range missiles :-). Venezuela would NEVER be SO STUPID as to directly give us causus belli, (and, not so incidentially, also turn world opinion and opinion in the rest of the Americas, strongly in our favor) by trying to deploy such weapons. Why, we would TOPPLE them in 48 hours... and be QUITE HAPPY at being given the opportunity. (No, JL, that one debka 'rumor' is ranked right up their with all of the other commie conspiracy theories they run. It's falt-out RIDICULOUS. :-)
