BPZ Energy (BPZI) -- They are now fully caught up on their SEC filings. Given that these have already been informally blessed by the SEC, its likely that they will be accepted as filed. So BPZ should be back on the OTCBB within a month or 2, and then get onto the Amex by Christmas. So your source will have been off by only 3 months or so.

Their financing application is on the docket with the IFC for board action by Halloween, see ifc.org . As shown in the info on that web site, in the area that BPZ is going to put its electricity plant, the electricity is currently generated from diesel. So by producing electricity from natural gas, BPZ will have a huge cost advantage over any competition. Since they will own the offshore platform and the pipeline, they will have a monopoly of sorts.

They have about $20M cash right now, that should be more than enough to allow them to keep their drilling program going until the IFC financing package gets funded.

BPZ is presenting at the OGIS West next week. Their first well is expected to hit TD the week after that or soon thereafter.

4Q is gonna be pretty exciting for BPZ fans!
